Edmond Nanney, 1854

I Edmond Nanney of Muhlenberg County, Ky do hereby make this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say.

1st I desire that all my just debts and funeral expences be paid immediately after my decease.

2nd I desire that my son Matthew Nanney have five dollars and one hundred acres of land that he now lives on deeded to him by me to him and his heirs for ever.

3rd I give to my son John Nanney five dollars and fifty acres land where he now lives which I have not deeded to him to him and his heirs forever.

4th I give to my daughter Ann Cravens five dollars to her and her heirs forever

5th I give to my daughter Sally Cain five dollars to her and her heirs forever.

6th I give to my granddaughter Polly A. Hunt five dollars to her ther heirs forever.

7th All the rest of my estate both real & personal of what nature or kind it may be not herein before particularly disposed of I give to my son Stephen H. Nanney to him and his heirs for ever.

And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Stephen H. Nanney Executor of this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all other or former wills or testaments by me here to for made in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixt my seal this 4th day of February 1854.

The foregoing last will and Testament of Edmond Nanney decd. was produced into court and proved to be the act and deed of the said decedent by the oaths of Isaac Wood, P.C. Wood and I.I. Wood the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded in witness that the same has been truly recorded, I have hereunto set my hand.
