Know all men by these presents, that I, W.P. New, of the county of Todd & state of Kentucky, do voluntarily and of my own free will, do appoint G.D. Park of the county of Muhlenberg and state of Kentucky my agent & attorney at law to rent out my farm in the county of Todd at the expiration of the present year 1872, to whom he pleases now occupied by W.T. Purvis, and said G.D. Park is hereby authorized to appropriate the proceeds of said farm for the benefit of my daughter Mary Ann Park and my daughter Sarah Harris, and in such a manner as said Park may think proper, reserving to himself the right to hold in his hands any money I may need during my natural life, that I would need during my natural life, and I do by these presents authorize said Park with full power to sell my farm at the expiration of 1827, if in his judgement he thinks it best to do so or he may continue to rent it out, this I leave to his own discretion or judgment, but in the event of its being sold or rented said Park is to appropriate the money as funds to my two daughters as above stated.

Given from under my hand this first day of January 1872.

And be it know that I have given to John W. Cabaniss fifty two acres of the best of my farm and have made him & my daughter Lucy D. Cabaniss a deed to the same, which is an equivalent to what I may give to my daughter Mary Park and Sarah Harris, consequently J.W. Cabaniss has no further claims on my estate and so acknowledged by him to me.

Given from under my hand this first day of January 1872.
