Transcription

I, Fetuae Logan Sandusky, wife of W.H. Sandusky, of Central City, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, being of sound and disposing memory and being not unmindful of the uncertainty of life and the ultimate certainty of death, do hereby make and declare this my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all wills by me ever heretofore at any time made.

First. I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Geneva Clotair Sandusky, all of my property, real and personal, of whatever description or kind, including my real estate known as the Sandusky House, situate in Central City, Ky., and my house and real estate situate at Dawson Springs, Ky., together with all the contents of both of said houses and all of the appurtenances thereunto belonging. This is inteded to and does include all property I now have or may have at the time of death.

Second. It is my will that my said daughter, Geneva, shall take all of the foregoing property absolutely in her own right, to do with as she sees fit: to dispose of or to hold, or to handle as she may desire. It is my will that said property shall be free from the debts, contracts or obligations of any husband or husbands she may ever have.

Third. It is my wish and I requrest that my said daughter shall furnish my said husband, W.H. Sandusky, with the necessaries of life. This is a request merely and not a bequest. I will that: my said daughter shall be the sole and exclusive judge of what to furnish said W.H. Sandusky, or whether to furnish him anything at all. This provision is made in the event I am survived by my said husband.

Fourth. I hereby appoint my said daughter, Geneva, my sole executrix and direct that she act as such executriv without any bond whatever; and I further direct that no inventory be made or returned concerning my estate.

Fifth. It is of course understood that all my just debts, if I should have any, are to paid before the provisions of this instrument become effective.

Done at Central City, Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, on this the 25 day of August 1902, and in witness whereof I have this day signed my name, in the presence of these two undersigned attesting witnesses and they have signed their names in my presence and in the presence of each other.

The foregoing instrument was this day signed and acknowledged by Fetuae Logan Sandusky, in our presence and we hereto sign our names in the presence of said Fetuae Logan Sandusky and in the presence of each other, the day and date above written.br /> Wm. H. Yost
