Frederick Sever Will

Transcription

In the name of God Amen. I, Frederick Sever, of the county of Muhlenberg and state of Kentucky, being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament as follows towit.

First I allow all my just debts and burial expenses be paid and executors satisfied, I give and bequeath to my wife Caterna, my dwelling house with fifteen acres of land round it her lifetime and her lawful part of all other property and the rest to my children as follows.

To my daughter Susannah and my son John and my daughter Elizabeth and my son Solomon and Joseph and my daughter Emlyanna all there above mentioned to have an equal proportion when the state divided and my son Michael and Gabriel, I give half as much as one of the above mentioned heirs and my son Jacob, I give one shilling and six pence and I constitute and ordain Solomon Rhoades and Jesse Jackson to be executors of this my last will and testament disanulling all wills and testaments by me made prior to these presents.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and fixed my seal this twenty eighth day of February one thousand eight hundred and four.
