Transcription

Know all men by these presents that I Leroy T. Stewart of the county of Muhlenburg & state of Kentucky being ill of body sound of mind do make & constitute this my last will and testament.

1st I do hereby bequeath to each of my brothers & sisters the sum of two dollars to be paid in 2 years after my death.

2nd I do hereby bequeath to my brother Benjamin all my estate both real & personal consisting of lands, horses, cattle, hogs & wagon, also notes accounts and all debts of every kind out of which he is to pay all my just debts.

Made & acknowledged the 31st day of August 1835.

The last will & testament of Leroy T. Stewart deceased was exhibited in to court & proved to be the act & deed of said decedant by the oath of Henry W. Black Jr. & ordered to be certified, and at the March County Court 1836 said will was fully proved by the oath of Mary Stewart the other subscribing witness thereto and ordered to be recorded.
