From the Minutes Book Vol. 1

The United Baptist Church of Jesus Christ at palistine after its constitution on the 4 Day of November 1859 at 3 oclock Brother Barbee preacht then opened the Dors of the church then came forward Brother William Madden & sister Nancy Madden his companion & was received by a Relation of there Christian Experiance & was Baptised on the 6 of Day of november 1859 by Brother Stuard;

The church met on the 5th of November & moved & seconded that a commity be a pointed to go to willow church & call for the ordination of Brother Wm L. Ragan for the paster of palistine

November 6 1859 - Preaching by Brother W.H. Stuart; the offer for Joiners then came forward sister Susan Wood & was received in to full fellowship being Baptise in the Reformed church

Nov 27, 1859 - Brother Ragan apointed moderator Brother Laban Mains apointed Clerk

1st - the opertunity offerd for the Reception of members - none
2nd. Bretheren of sister churches in vited to seats in counsel with us
3rd - peace of the Church cald for all in peace
4th - Referenceses - none
5th - a motion & seconded that there be a house keeper appointed for one year fro the 24th of December where upon Brother J.H. Mains agrees to keep it one year & the church is to pay to Brother Mains $4.00      Ragan Mod

Dec 27, 1859 - Brother A.W. Mullins, Moderator, preached; Brother R. Wood Received in full fellowship, Baptised March 5th, 1860; Brother gilderoy Mains & Meriah his companion Joined Dec. 31st, 1859; Sister America Bradford came forward and joined by her relation of Christian Experiance & was Baptised the 5th day of March 1860.

January 3, 1860 - Preaching by Brother A.W. Mullins;  Cinda Ragan & sister mary L. Bosten Jointed & was Baptised 5 Day of March 1860 by A.W. Mullins in the Licking River

November 1861 - The united Baptist church of Jsus christ met at palistine on the 4 Saturday in November & after prayer & instruction By Brother Laban Mains the church went in to business

January 1862 - pease of the church cald for, not in peace; Refer cald for the committy; Delivered his message & was Released from the Duty; & Dismissing Sister Boston from a mong us; Bro Robert Routt & sister margrett his companion cald for their Letters was granted by the church;  Bro Laban Mains to write the Leters; Bro Wood came forward & made an open confession of his guilt; what he had done & said he hoped the Lord had forgave him & that the church would too; then a motion was maid & Second that the church for gave Bro Wood

February 1862 - then came forward Bro Joel Hamilton & Sarah his wife & are under the watch care of the church til they get there Letter; moved and seonded that a superscription be writing out to get signors to pay Bro Ragan for his Labour; move and second that the clerk Right it out against ur next meeting & to collect the money & pay over         Ragan Mod

Bradford & his companion Salley A Bradford their Leter

December 26 1864 - Monday morning service Protracted meetin; then came forward & Joined by a Relation of hir christian Experiance sister Rachel Woods and was Baptised on the 28th of December 1864 Monday Evening; then came forward sister Melvina Cummins & Joined By a Relation of hir cristain Experiance & was Baptised on the 29 of December 1864

December 28 (Wednesday evening) - then came for ward & Joined By a Relation of there christian Experiance Brother James Wood & son Laban Woods & his Daughter Nancy J. Woods & Isham T. Hamilton & they was Baptise By immersion of thursday the 29th Day of December 1864

Dec. 29, 1864 (Thursday morning) - then came forward sister Liza Palmer & By a relation of hir christain Experiance & affextions Joined & was Received in full fellow ship being Baptised in the Reform church

February 1865 - no meting in conciquence of the clemenecy of the weather

On 4 saboth after the miss church meetings in february 1865 then the Baptism of sister sally A. Madden took place in the willow creek near Brother R.H. Browning

February 1866 - Moved & second Brother Laban Mains act as Moderator; a commity appointed to in vite Brother gilderoy Mains & companion to fill there seats & make none (known) there absence; the commity is sister cordela Hamilton & Brother L Mains; a motion & seconded that Brother Nim Mccarty be Excluded for Dis oning to be a member with us - the church by hir vote says he is Excluded; the motion maid previs to this time & no second was seconded & Put to vote on Liza Palmer the church says she is not one of us for Bad Langage & immoral conduct Excluded; Motion & seconded to call a preacher - the church had the names of 4 Brothers Mullins, Ragan, Denman & Bell; the church then chose Brother Bell the vote stood for Bell & none for the others

January 1868 - that Brother J.T. October 1868 - the Baptism of Mary Boswell took place on the 4 saboth on October in 1868 at Hooks mill in Bracken County Ky

November 1868 - on tuesday the 3 a potracted Meting commenced friday night & Saturday night; then came for Harvy Fields & His companion & Joind the United Baptis at palistine Pendleton County Ky; al so on Saturday night Martha J. Hamilton & sarah T. Mains & Rhoda Mains & on Sunday susan F. Mains By Letter; thos that was to be baptised was Baptised the 8th Day fo November at Rob Bradfords in WIllow Creek By Brother Henry Bell in gospel order; Wm Hamilton & Edward Hamilton Joined the untied Baptist church at Palistine on 2 Saboth in november 1868 & was Baptised in Willow creek on the 3; Wm Miller Joined in monday night after the 2 saboth in November in 1868 & was baptised on the 3 saboth in willow creek; Josefine Miller Joined on the night before the 3 Saboth and was baptised on the 3 Saboth in WIllow in 1868

Mains one of the Deacons; motion & seconded to forgave fore Dancing; the church has for gave Brother Hamilton once on the Primis to Doo so no more; a charge against Brother edward Hamilton for Dancing & swearing; a committy be apointed to wait on Broth E Hamilton and to make none (known) at our next meeting;   the committee is sister Martha G.
