Richard LAGOW was in Henry Co. in about 1805, from there he went to Greene Co., TN and later to Crawford Co., IL. We think that he was a brother of Wilson LAGOW who was in Shelby Co., KY at an earlier date. Richard married Margery.

Searching for information on William JACKSON, b. March, 1834, either in KY or England, sources differ on that. Married Jan., 1855, Margaret W. BURKE, b. 1834, Ireland. They lived in Henry County from at least 1859 until William died in 1897 and Maggie died in 1910. They both are buried in Sulphur Cemetery. They had four children: William, Emma, Maggie, and Joseph. Joseph JACKSON was b. Henry Co. KY, April 1859. Married Mary PECAR of Milton, Trimble Co., ca. 1882. Joseph JACKSON died in 1922 and is buried in Louisville. I can find hardly anything regarding William and Margaret JACKSON. I would especially like to know where William was born and when he, if born in England, and Margaret came to this country, and where they were married.

I am looking for Lucretia HENDERSON who owned 100 ac. of land in 'walnut bottoms", Henderson Co. Ky in the early 1800's. She was fom Henry Co. Ky. Others were Wm. T. HENDERSON, James HENDERSON, Andrew Jackson HENDERSON. A small family group who lived on Drennon Creek in Henry Co.Ky. from 1810 (or before)to about 1850.I think some relitive left her the land in Henderson Co. I am looking for information on BABER,LEACH,BLACKWELL,LEAP.... William Godbey BABER (b 8/16/1882 - d 2/18/79) marr Phoebe Ellen Blackwell (b. 3/17/1857?? - d ??). For as long as anyone can remember, they resided in Mt Sterling, Ky. Both were supposedly born within miles of Mt Sterling, but I have no firm documentation. Any help is appreciated! We are looking for the name and tribe (probably Shawnee) of the Native American wife of Augustus Gustavus CLEMENTS. He was born August 24, 1840, probably Henry Co. KY, Possibly Lockport. Our records show him marrying Martha Eddings WILLIAMS December 25, 1864. She was born in 1840 in KY and died in 1881. Before she died, she had a daughter, America CLEMENTS, born April 10, 1874, in Franklin Co. KY. Augustus Gustavus CLEMENTS remarried Pollyanna WOOLUMS. The family moved to Lima, OH. We have found other family reports on the CLEMENTS family listing Martha Eddings WILLIAMS as being married to a different CLEMENTS. We are looking for the true name of Augustus Gustavus first wife and confirmation of this. She is supposed to have been full blood Indian. America was my great grandmother and was half Indian. Knowledge of which tribe would also be appreciated.

Need information on the following: George Washington FISHER who was born on Jan. 27, 1810 and died on May 16, 1886. He married Lucy Bryant PEDEN on Nov. 11, 1832 in Barren County. Lucy Bryant PEDEN was born in 1814 and died on Oct. 22, 1887. Father of George Washington FISHER was James W. FISHER, Sr. born in 1781 in Lunenburg County, Virginia and died on Aug. 1856 in Barren County, KY. George Washington FISHER and Lucy Bryant PEDEN had several children, need information on James Willliam FISHER who was born March 25, 1849 and died June 30, 1918. He is buried in the Cemetery-Roseville Road, Glasgow. He married Mary E. UNDERWOOD in 1870 (I have no further information on her). They had 7 children, including John W. FISHER born April 1879 and died March 11, 1913 in Barren County. He married Della Mae CARTER who was born Oct. 26, 1883 and died May 1981. She is buried in Port Royal Cemetery, Henry County, KY. One of their 5 children was my grandfather - Alex Furgerson (Blackey) FISHER who was born Dec. 15, 1908 in Barren County and died Dec. 4, 1973. He is buried in Pleasureville Cemetery, Pleasureville (Henry County), KY. He married Mary Daphna MCALISTER May 13, 1928 in Jeffersonville, IN. She was born May 29, 1912 and died May 22, 1993, both in Henry County. She too is buried in Pleasureville Cemetery, Pleasureville (Henry County)< KY.
