(is this there such a place?) (lot 130) He later had property in Oldham County which he purchased from Patrick BLANKENSHIP (possibly his brother-in-law) Francis died between 1848-1850. Sophonia was first married to Butler G. SMITH who was killed in the Civil War. She had 3 children Francis Butler SMITH, Emma W. SMITH, and Leander SMITH. I know that Sophronia belonged to the LaGrange, KY Methodist Church.
