I was born in Henderson, Kentucky in 1969, the only daughter of Gabriel Thomas DAVIS II (10-23-10) and Gayle RICHMOND (10-27-42). I believe my father's family was always in Corydon, Kentucky, as tobacco farmers. Both of my parents have passed away, and I am researching my geneology. All I have is a xeroxed piece of paper which lists my grandfather as Gabriel Thomas DAVIS Sr., born July 1 1878 and my grandmother's name as Nannie Dixon WOLFLIN born May 14, 1884. Every day I am thankful to have their wedding day photograph as a clue to who they were, since they had been gone many years before I was born. The stories my father told me are just dim memories. Any information would be of help.

I am looking for information on Martha Ann HAWKINS born 22 Sept 1872 in a county unknown to me. She married Granville Martin MISKELL on 18 Jan 1872 at the home of John DOWNY in Henry County, Kentucky. They moved to Clements Bottom close by Fallis Falls (or maybe they are the same) and they are buried in Clements Bottom graveyard. (They both died in 1910). I have heard from a relative that Martha's mom was a CLEMENTS. Does anyone have any information on her?

I am interested in any information on John M. ESTES b: 1831 Henry Co., KY, married 12 February 1856 Henry Co., KY, Lucy Jane BROWNING b: 1836 Henry Co., KY. Johm M. ESTES may be the John ESTES age 19 shown living in the household of Arch MICHEL ( whom I do not know) on the 1850 census. On the 1860 census they have children Sandford C. ESTES age 2 yr, and Mary M. ESTES age 7/12. John Thomas ESTES was not born until 1862. There may have been others later. John M. ESTES is probably one and the same as John ESTIS who enlisted in the 54th Regiment KY Infantry, Union in New Castle KY 23 September 1864 along with a Robert ESTIS ( Same day, same place, etc.) John Thomas ESTES'S death certificate give Henry Co., KY as their place of death and presumed burial but I do not know where anybody except John Thomas Estes and his wife Amanda BREWER are buried. Any help appreciated.

Looking for any info on William Edward WILSON, dob 11/26/1836, m. to Nancy Mildred HUNDLEY, dob 5/22/1848, parents to Sidney S. WILSON dob 7/7/1865. Sidney was married to Matilda PERRY, dob 7/9/1868, daughter of John Milton and Francis Ann PERRY. All but William are buried at Port Royal Cemetery in Herny County and believed to have lived in Henry and Shelby counties. I would appreciate any information on the WILSONs, PERRYs or HUNDLEYs and can share the info I have.

I am seeking information on Addison Montague BALLARD (b 1799 Spotsylvania VA, d Oldham KY 1879). The 1860 census of Henry Co shows AMB age 63 as a farmer near Jericho, near his brother Thomas and family and Thomas's son James B. BALLARD and family. I am particularly interested to discover whether Addison married and had children. His diary with information on Henry County is evidently in the KY Historical Society.

Want to contact other researchers who are tracing ancestors of Joshua WALLACE. A Revolutionary War Veteran of South Carolina, he was born in Ulster in about 1760, and brought his family to Wallace's Warehouse (now Lockport) Henry Co. Ky in about 1800.
