BREWER,FOSTER,LANHAM I am trying to find more information on Joseph Wesley BREWER and Emaline Elizabeth LANHAM who were married in 1843. Their son James Albert BREWER was my g-grandfather. They may have been in Henry Co. at one time as they moved a lot. I am also trying to find parents and siblings of Susan Margrette FOSTER BREWER. She married James and they had 7 children. Any information would be appreciated.
William BELL father of Martha Jane BELL (She was born in 1828 in Henry County, KY.) How many Wm. BELLs on the 1820 or 1830 census of KY? Who did William BELL marry in Henry County(?) in the 1820's? (Martha Jane BELL's Death certificate says her father, Wm BELL was born "in Virginia"). Laura Crane 1906 Dartmouth Drive, Columbia, MO 65023-1830
MATTHEWS and PHELPS are the surnames of interest. Thomas and John MATTHEWS attended College (of agriculture?) about 1840 in New Castle KY. They roomed at the PHELPS home. The first names of PHELPS individuals I know of are Truman & Luman, and David. Any information greatly appreciated!
Am researching descendants of Robert SHANNON and Catharine DAVIDSON (PA>NC>KY) who came to Henry Co. in 1812. I am descended from his son John Davidson SHANNON and his 1st wife Lydia LEACH, of Henry Co. Am also trying to place a Joseph SHANNON whose will of 1823 was witnessed by Robert SHANNON'S son Joseph W. SHANNON.
My great grandmother, Mattie Belle GAINES, filled out a family tree in my baby book. In it she stated that she was the granddaughter of Bernard GAINES and Martha POINDEXTER. I was taken to the graves in Henry Co., KY, "to visit the ancestors", as a child. I have no doubts that this is my line. But, as Thomas F. GAINES was not mentioned in his father Bernard 's will, I need proof. "Barney gave him his settlement early, so that Tom & Martha could get married. "
Now, I need more than this oral confirmation that Thomas was Bernard's son. Since Bernard was born in that portion of Fayette County that became Jessamine County two years after his birth, I hope to find some old family records of relatives in Fayette County.
Can someone please tell me the name of the church that migrated from Virginia to Forks of the Elkhorn which I believe was in Henry County? The Baptist group was led by Rev. CRAIG. Their Virginia Church was called Skinquarter if I remember rightly.

Need leads on Vitals (birth & death, full names) of John W. and Sarah E. PENN, parents of Rebecca (b July 3, 1846 d September 23, 1923) of Turners Station, Henry County. The State of Kentucky states that they do not have records for that period of time (birth). Also, is there a chance that they have Native American ancestry?
